Murray & Roberts Acquires Aquamarine and Secures Access to African Water Treatment Opportunities

Johannesburg, 14 October 2014 – Murray & Roberts today announced the acquisition of Aquamarine Water Treatment (“Aquamarine”). The acquisition value was R28 million.

Aquamarine is a company that designs, manufactures and installs water treatment solutions. It offers a complete customised solution, including support for and maintenance of its installations. Aquamarine currently operates in a niche market for mainly small to-medium size installations and has developed a network of resellers throughout the African continent that serves as an extended business development network.

Aquamarines’ technology is ideal for much larger water treatment solutions including containerised modular plants.”
